Anti Bullying Policies

At Mount Primary we are very proud of the kindness and friendship that our children show towards each other.  However, we are also determined to ensure that we have practise clear Anti-Bullying policies.

In 2014 we adapted our Anti Bullying policies to support Wirral's Anti Bullying strategy.  We adopted Wirral's strategy as our school's new policy.  We hope this provides continuity between primary school, secondary school and other agencies involved in children's services.

Bullying is very rare.  However, when it is reported you should expect to be referred to a senior member of staff.  They will manage any concerns about bullying; respect confidentiality and ensure that parents and children are fully informed about the school's investigation and any subsequent outcomes of that investigation.

E-safety is increasingly an important aspect of our work.  Our children need guidance in a world were so much communication takes place electronically.  That can be through mobile phones, gaming devices, the internet or increasingly through Apps on smart-phones and tablets.  Parents also need support in this area.

This section has links to the school policy, posters, websites, parents’ reports and parents' presentations.

Please contact the school if you have any questions or need advice about bullying.
