School Dinners. Yum!
Our wonderful kitchen have been very busy making some yummy food for our children, from the Wednesday roast beef dinner, to tasty curry with star garlic bread!
On Thursday 18th January we also had a very delicious American themed lunch. A massive thank you to the kitchen team for all their hard work. It was quite the celebration with balloons and American music. The children loved it!
It's not all or nothing. Your child doesn't have to choose between packed lunches or school dinners, why not have both on different days of the week? Our rolling menu runs for three weeks and we know not everyone likes everything, so why not look at our current menu HERE and see whether there are any days that have your child's favourites? They can always try first if you child is unsure. Contact the school office to try a meal before making a decision or for more information. School meals cost £2.20 per day unless your child is entitled to Universal free school meals, or Means Tested free school meals.

Children in Need
Guess who visited us at school? The children were all excited to meet Pudsey bear for Children in Need.
F2 and Eco Hedgehog Walk
Our wonderful reception classes will be taking part in The Wildlife Trusts ‘Big Wild Walk’ on Friday 20th October. They will be dressing up as hedgehogs and woodland animals for a Hedgehog Walk to raise awareness about wildlife protection and restoring nature.
It is a sponsored event and we are hoping to raise the minimum sponsorship amount of £30.00 for The Wildlife Trust. The school community has already been incredibly generous supporting Alder Hey last week so we are only asking for any spare coppers that you would like to donate.
Our hedgehog piggy bank will be outside of reception collecting donations on Friday 20.10.23.
Many thanks for your support,
Kim Murphy
Eco Coordinator
Alder Hey PJ Day
On Friday 13th October we supported the Alder Hey PJ Day. Everyone came to school in their pjs to join us in raising the fantastic total of £588.84 for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital! |
